3rd Annual Fall In Virginia Photos
You didn’t think I forgot did you? I certainly didn’t. About 2 weeks ago I visited my favorite spot in Richmond and took an assortment of #FallInVA photos. This year I decided not to limit myself to pictures of trees so I’ve included photos of things I found inspiring or interesting. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
To get to my favorite area, I had to walk down this path. I was a bit worried at first because everything was so green but when I turned the corner…
this was my view!
The assortment of colors lining the lake didn’t disappoint either.
How can you not look at these trees and gaze in awe?!
I love the colors of these flowers. Does anyone know what they are?
I wanted to grab one, blow on it and make a wish. 😉
While I was checking out the pine cones, I heard something rumbling in the leaves.
If you look carefully, you can spot the noisemaker…
I found these plants quite interesting. Every time the wind blew they swayed back and forth in unison, almost like they were waving hello.
These mallard ducks weren’t bothered by my presence at all. They were focused on their grooming session.
The color of this tree in person was stunning.
I love the color of the leaves on this tree too.
Let me sit down awhile and gaze at all the beauty.
And realize that I’m being watched!
I like the contrast of these two colors.
Yes, I like the contrast of these colors too! What can I say? I LOVE Fall!
I don’t like raking up leaves though!
But I love the view!!
