Christmas Town @buschgardensva : The Next Best Thing To The North Pole
I received complimentary admission to Busch Gardens as part of my ambassador role with the park and Mom Central. All opinions are 100% mine.
Since most of us can’t get to Santa’s Workshop in the North Pole, where can a person go to experience the delights of Christmas? Christmas Town at Busch Gardens in Virginia! From November 21st through December 31st, Busch Gardens turns into a holiday wonderland.
It’s easy to get into the holiday spirit here because as soon as you enter, you’re greeted with the sounds of carolers.
There’s rides to enjoy like the Skyride:
the KINDER KARUSSEL, LE CATAPULT, LI’L CLYDES, REINDEER RUN, PEPPERMINT TWIST, and more!
You can take in the waterfalls of light on the Polar Pathway:
or admire the light displays that are everywhere in the park!
When you need to recharge, I recommend grabbing dinner at Trapper’s Smokehouse. My husband and I have enjoyed their barbecue on two separate occasions. I also suggest buying a souvenir mug that’s refillable with delicious hot chocolate. It’s perfect for the cold nights in Virginia!
When you’re feeling recharged, check out the local wildlife or catch a show:
Don’t forget to visit Santa before you leave the park—especially if you’re on his “nice” list. 😉
My husband and I had so much fun at Christmas Town and it definitely put us in the holiday spirit. The lights, the shows, the rides, the food, and time spent with family…what’s not to love?
