Meet Maximus: he loves healthy dog treats, dinner time, his purple squeaky toy, and his family. He doesn’t like loud noises or strangers. The sound of fireworks sends Maximus scurrying under the bed, shaking in fear. Maximus is not alone in his fear. Did you know that the 4th of July is the largest day for lost pets?
I don’t want to lose Maximus and I’m sure you don’t want to lose your furry family member either. So what can we do to help keep our fur kids safe during this major US holiday? We can start with the basics.
I’ve printed out these two pet safety infographics for reference and I highly recommend you do the same. Also, please share them on Pinterest and social media. We don’t want anyone losing their pets this 4th of July.
If I’m home during the 4th of July, I always give Maximus a few treats to keep him busy and distracted during the noise. This Independence Day, Maximus will be snacking on Nudges dog treats. Nudges are made in the USA, contain no fillers or artificial flavors, and I swear they smell like beef jerky!
We have a few summer road trips planned this summer and I’ll be bringing Nudges along. Whenever Maximus takes a potty break, after a long ride in the car, he’ll get a treat! Can someone give me a treat too?! LOL
Pet parents—you can take Nudges dog treats with you this summer too. Order your dog a pack in their favorite flavor from Amazon.
