Deck The Halls Then Deck The Dog With PetSmart Grooming
Last month I showed you how PetSmart® grooming took our 9-month-old puppy, Teddy from a Fall mess to a Fall yes. Dog groomer Brandy gave Teddy a bath and cut and as a result, he no longer looked {or smelled} like he’d been rooting around in the trash. It’s been about 8 weeks since that grooming visit so Teddy is in need of another bath and cut.
I booked Teddy’s next appointment online with our favorite groomer, Brandy. A Saturday appointment means I can drop Teddy off, fit in a few hours of holiday shopping, and get a text alert when he’s ready to be picked up. I know that some pet owners worry about their pets while they’re at the grooming salon, but I don’t because I know Teddy is in capable hands.
Since Brandy has groomed Teddy on his last few visits, he is comfortable with her and she knows when he’s feeling tired or anxious. PetSmart salon associates {like Brandy} earn an annual safety certification plus they take additional coursework where they learn about dog anatomy, signs of stress and common pet medical conditions. In addition, groomers receive over 400 hours of training so they’re qualified to care for all sorts of dog and cat breeds.
One of the PetSmart salon services that we like to use during the holidays is called Pet Expressions. With Pet Expressions, groomers can add the following decorative accents to your pet:
- chalking
- stenciling
- feathering and fur extensions
- jewels
- nail polish and stickers
Teddy got a fall leaf stencil on his last visit but for his upcoming visit, I’m thinking a Santa stencil is in order. He did make Santa’s nice list after all. 😉 Teddy is going to be one decked out dog!

We love Pet Smart and buy food and supplies for all our pets there. Their grooming area looks fantastic and they do a great job on the dogs (and cats!).
PetSmart always does a great job on Teddy. 🙂 We love shopping there too Joanne!
Oh I love this, I’m dying to get Pet Expressions stenciling for Phoebe! It looks so pretty.
Love & biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Phoebe would look so cute with a stencil!
Gorgeous dog. We don’t have pets, but when we get some we’ll definitely be going to petsmart for grooming, I’ve always heard good things about them.
Everyone needs to be holiday ready, even the pups! We only have cats but we love shopping at Petsmart for our special furbabies!
I agree Censie. Even the fur kids want to look pretty for the holidays. 😉
We don;t have a dog but yours is adorable!! My middle son is allergic so it will be many years before we have one.
Thanks!
My pups really need a grooming right now and I should get this done before our company comes for Christmas. Petsmart seems like a place I need to check out for our grooming needs.
WE just got our pup groomed. Not her favorite thing, I need to find a location that she is happy to visit.
We like the locations off Brook Rd and Short Pump. 🙂
Our dogs are in need of a good grooming before Christmas. We use Petsmart because they are affordable and good with larger breeds.
How adorable are these pics? What a nice job they did. My dog’s brother went to PetSmart for grooming yesterday and he is all set for Santa Paws!
Yay! I’m sure PetSmart did a great job. 🙂
