Happy Spring y’all! We’re celebrating the occasion with five to six inches of snow tomorrow. Ha! Normally I’m super excited when snow is in the forecast but I’m totally over winter this year. I’ve told him goodbye like five times but he refuses to leave. He keeps hanging on like a bad 80’s song.
Since I’ll probably be stuck indoors tomorrow, I plan on doing a bit of crafting and spring cleaning (the irony, I know). If you’ll be stuck indoors too, or you just like pretty things, let me introduce you to the scrapbooking cards I made (a snow day is a good day to catch up on scrapbooking).
For the journal cards, I used bright spring colors, butterflies, and flowers. They’re sized at 4×6″. The filler cards feature spring nature scenes and they’re sized at 3×5″. Aren’t they purty?
As a bonus, I’ve included two coordinating hearts that you can make into stickers or layer on top of the cards. Get creative and have some fun!
If you’re printing these at home, I recommend using a heavier cardstock. I use either this one or this one. If you’re confused about the weight of paper, glossy or matte, this post from Persnickety Prints is a good reference tool.
